Hyatt Place Mystic

We loved our stay this weekend in Mystic! Amy was at the front desk and she is FANTASTIC! She gave us so much helpful information about the town - where to go, where to park, etc. She even helped find us some detergent when we got a stain on a clothing item. The hotel was clean and very comfortable & the location is beautiful.

We spent one night here in a one day visit to Mystic. The room itself was very good. It was very well laid out, organized and most importantly clean. We had four people and required three beds. The two queens and sofa bed were perfect. The bathroom and living space were spotless. Staff was nice and welcoming. Check-in was simple. My only complaint which is a common issue I have with many hotels is the type of cleaning products they use. There is an bit of an antiseptic smell as you enter the lobby. Nothing bad but I would suggest the use of a non fragrant cleaning product. The room itself did not have this issue.

Great location, right near Old Mystic Center and the aquarium. . Good rates. Free breakfast for Hyatt members. Comfortable rooms. I would stay here again.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was exceptionally clean and surprisingly spacious—perfect for a relaxing, home-like stay, especially if the weather is nice. It’s ideal for family travel, with plenty of room to move around and a separate area for washing up. The facilities felt very new and well-maintained. The exterior and lobby might look a bit older at first glance, but everything was impressively clean. Breakfast was complimentary and simple, but honestly, I really enjoyed it. The staff kept things fresh and well-stocked. We even made our own breakfast tacos! Even the basic, pre-cooked sausage they used was flavorful and satisfying. Dining space was clean, comfortable, and well-managed. The only minor downside was that the fitness room didn’t have any weightlifting equipment—just the basics like treadmills. But considering the peaceful and beautiful town the hotel is in, and that many guests seemed to be families or older travelers on vacation, it wasn’t a big issue. The bed was super comfortable, and the overall room design made the whole stay very enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel—especially for families. The spaciousness really makes a difference.

Great location for exploring the Mystic area. Nice rooms and friendly and helpful staff. Also a decent hot breakfast.

Had a great stay at Hyatt Place of Mystic. Super clean and friendly, you couldn’t ask for a better place. As of a Discoverist, I’m glad they included breakfast for having status. Much less busy and quality was solid. Will definitely stay here again.

Last-minute booking on my @TravelingDoulaNCS road trip. The room was HUGE! I'm not sure how old the building itself is but the room was definitely up-to-date. Appreciate that the bedding and pillows were allergy-free. Bed was comfy. Water pressure and temp spot on. Standard full hot breakfast options with plenty of seating. Very friendly check-in/out staff. Only thing which would've made it nicer, take away some of the huge living space to make the toilet/bath/shower room bigger as it was the only area that felt a bit cramped. Other than that, my stay was absolutely lovely and would highly recommend to others!

We enjoyed a quick overnight stay to experience Mystic’s culinary scene. Every staff member we interacted with was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive, which made the visit feel special from start to finish. The rooms were impressively spacious and exceptionally clean, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment after a full day of exploring. Overall, it was a wonderful stay that added so much to our trip.
